Videogame
Hey!
My name is Jane Kennington and I do just about a bit of everything in digital designing and directing. From films to graphic design, 3D animation, editing, VFX and videogames I've dipped my toes in most everything. I love making weird and cool stories and I'm always pushing my own creative and technical boundaries!

I recently graduated John Curtin College of the Arts where I honed my skills in the Media Arts GAT program. This is where I produced my passion project 'Stanciverse' films which have now won four awards at film festivals over the years.

By trade I'm a digital designer, which means I create graphic designs and videos and produce social media content for MONTAS, a sports marketing company, and its clients.

I am also directing the arena shooter FPS Incolatus which has showed at many local conventions including Perth Games Festival, Pixel Expo and XR:WA. I was initially afforded this opportunity through the Design Certificate II in Technical Graphics course.

Most of the stuff on here says Joe Kennington in the credits. That's my old name. I'm recently transgender.

I have known Jane Kennington for the past 3 years as one of my most talented Design students at John Curtin College of the Arts. Jane is an exceptional young woman with a maturity beyond her years who can be trusted to fulfil all her obligations to an incredibly high standard. Jane is that rare student that seeks perfection in all she commits herself to, gaining the admiration and respect of her peers, work colleagues and teachers.
Jane sees opportunity where most of us are blind to the possibilities. Her thirst for technological challenges continues to build her knowledge through a willingness to experiment and problem solve. Jane's independent nature allows her to work through to design solutions with very little assistance from others but will actively seek out support where necessary. Jane regularly attends my design lab during her recess and lunch breaks to work diligently on highly complex digital technology projects with her design team and thinks nothing of utilising her spare time to fulfil her obligations.
I can highly recommend Jane for any position or endeavour she may apply for. She will be a valuable asset to any organisation and I wish her the very best with these pursuits.
